Challenge mode rotates weekly modifiers that restrict unit rarity, role, or trait usage. Wins depend on roster depth and placement skill rather than raw Mythic DPS—players with a wide bench of Legendary and Mythic units clear more weeks than those who hyper-invested one carry.

Building a Challenge-Ready Roster

Keep six to eight leveled units rather than hyper-focusing one trait god. Splash + single-target + Economy + buffer + control covers most challenge restrictions. Bridge units like Dark Speakerman and Ninja Cameraman often star in restricted weeks because their roles are not banned.

Plan Crystal budgets to keep supporting units lightly traited rather than dumping everything into your Mythic carry.

Modifier Categories

Common modifiers include: rarity bans (Mythic units disabled), role bans (splash units disabled), economy limits (Toilet Paper per wave capped), and modifier stacks (Glass + Stun combinations). Each week demands different roster combinations—keep backup lineups ready in team builder.
